Gilardino back in tune with la Viola

I think that a fox in the box type player like I think he is, struggles in these seemingly larger pitches within the larger stadia. ie San Siro, Stadio Olympico et al,it almost seemed like he was never that close to the goal, unlike say in the Tardini with Parma. I wonder if he has a good goal ratio away against Milan?
